WORK DAY<\/strong>
\nThank you to the following members for all the hard work they did on our new pistol range: Tom Jones, Tim McGuire, Jim Meyer, John Hansen, Ron Highsmith, Jason Weller, Mike Hohm, Ed LaBarre and Kyle Froese. The landscaping was mostly finished, grass planted, electric lines were trenched in and it\u2019s really looking good.<\/p>\n

ELECTION MEETING AND PICNIC<\/strong>
\nMark your calendars for July 10th, Sunday, for a great picnic, election meeting at noon and raffles. Officers are up for election as well as two director positions. Tom Braesch has moved to Iowa, leaving one spot open and Ron Highsmith has been filling in an interim position since Cal Woods moved away. If you are interested in being a director or know someone who wants to be active in running the club, we will be taking nominations from the floor.<\/p>\n

As to the picnic, just bring a dish to pass and your own place settings. The club will provide chicken and beverages. In addition, we will be holding raffles for a Mossberg .270 rifle and a CVA Wolf 50 Cal. Muzzleloader as well as a brick of Winchester 550 .22 long rifle ammunition, wildlife prints, a
\nWilderness Bell wind chimes, a folding boat and more. Bring the whole family. The trap and rifle ranges will be open for anyone who wants to shoot.<\/p>\n

FISH AND DEER MOUNTS<\/strong>
\nBefore he moved to Iowa, Tom Braesch donated two fish mounts and a mounted deer head to the club. They have been placed in the clubhouse for all members to enjoy. Thanks so much, Tom.<\/p>\n

HUNTER ED RANGE USE<\/strong>
\nAs noted in the calendar of events, the Stone Lake Hunter Education class will be using the range on Saturday, July 16, from 8 a.m. to noon, with an awards ceremony in the clubhouse to follow.<\/p>\n

NEW MEMBERS<\/strong>
\nWe have added the following new members since the April meeting: Daniel Britton and Rich Brown of Hayward, Todd Durand of Arden Hills, MN. Matt & Claudia Bosman of North Aurora, IL., Caleb Bosman of Lombard, IL., James Chakires of Geneva, IL., Bernie Bell of Verona, IL., and Lance Jones of Winter, WI. Welcome to all of you.<\/p>\n

PAST DUE MEMBERS<\/strong>
\nDropped from membership for 90 days past due is Bill Koehler. Members who are 60 days past due and who will not be allowed to vote at the Election meeting are: Chris & Judy Young, Russ Smith, T.C. Lambert, John Czarnecki and Michael Bulgrin.<\/p>\n
