SIGHT IN DAYS
A snow storm caused cancellation of the first weekend of sight in as well as Monday and Tuesday. The road to the range and out to the berms got plowed out by Wednesday, so we had ten shooters on Wednesday, 22 shooters on Thursday and 58 on Friday for a total of 90 shooters and 124 guns sighted in.

Many thanks to the members who turned out to help in the single-digit temperatures: Ron Highsmith, Tom Braesch, Bob Renton, Mel Baughman, Frank Metzinger, Sheila Shambaugh and Terry Panian.

RIFLE RANGE GATE
Members, when you drive down to the rifle range, please remember to close the gate behind you. It’s not necessary to lock it. It should appear to be closed to anyone driving by on the highway.

CLUB T SHIRTS
Club t-shirts are still available at the clubhouse. The price is $20 and all proceeds go to the club scholarship fund. The shirts are dark blue or forest green; some have pockets, some don’t. Sheila will be available at the club on Tuesday nights of pellet league and at the monthly club meetings if you would like to purchase one.

PELLET LEAGUE
Winter pellet league will begin December 30th, Tuesday, at 6 p.m. for practice and also January 6th for practice. The league will then run for ten more weeks. Both members and non-members are welcome. The cost will be $2 per night to cover costs of awards, targets and pizza on awards night.

SWAP MEET
A discussion was held at the December meeting concerning holding a club swap meet. So if you have to clear out a closet or clean off a shelf or two or have a bunch of stuff you don’t use any more but don’t want to throw away, bring it to the club swap meet and make a little money on May 23rd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m . Table space is limited, so it’s first come, first served. There will be a charge of $20 per table with all proceeds going to the scholarship fund. Members are welcome to share a table, too.
Contact Sheila at 715-865-2506 to reserve a table.
